 MOOD AND STYLE OF THE MUSIC VIDEO

Throughout shooting we focused on representing the emotional journey of the character in our music video. The concept of the music video is about a boy who experiences an unfortunate situation in his love life and he goes through common teenage problems that happen after a break up. Throughout the journey we consistently focused on portraying the emotional journey of the main character, ensuring the audience could connect with his internal struggles. 

To effectively communicate the intended mood and atmosphere, we carefully selected a range of shots. He starts the gym as a way to channelize his inner struggles into a better way to improve himself mentally and physically. For instance, we used shots of the character training in a dark isolated gym where there is no one but the character himself, this shot helped us create a sense of isolation and determination, which reflects the characters way of dealing with this emotions. 

We used a close up shot of the letter burning on the ground, while in the background the character is walking away from the letter. This allows us to convey that the character has finally moved on and helps is tell the audience that he is walking away from the memories and emotions that kept him at rock bottom. 

Overall, the mood of the music video transitions from sadness and isolation to strength which was appropriately supported by our use of lighting, shot composition
