Regarding make up.

Collectively deciding on whether we should use make up or not has been challenging, because we were confused and a little worried about the characters final look on the screen, however after the trial shoot we shot, we were satisfied with the characters final look. 



To also add on, we also did not decide to utilize make up due to the fact that we wanted our characters to maintain their natural skin tone, to symbolize rawness and could also have potentially helped us deliver that gruff and unfiltered look onto both our characters

 Definition of Intertextual References When a text (book, movie, speech, song, etc.) alludes to another text, either directly or indirectly, this is known as an intertextual allusion. By utilizing the audience's prior knowledge of the item being referred, this relationship has the potential to influence meaning, provide depth, or generate fresh interpretations. The idea stems from the theory of intertextuality, which was first used by Julia Kristeva in the 1960s and was based on Mikhail Bakhtin's theories. It implies that all texts are a "mosaic of quotations" that are impacted by one another and do not exist in a vacuum. Examples in Pop Culture Literature  James Joyce's Ulysses is a Dublin-set adaptation of Homer's Odyssey. Jean Rhys' Wide Sargasso Sea, which gives voice to Bertha Mason, is a forerunner to Jane Eyre. Stepping Up: Transition from AS to A Levels

 In AS level I would like to mention that last years coursework was intriguing in many aspects, I got to learn a lot of the basics of the camera and the different parts of the camera and its functions, overall, last year was amusing and the team work and the editing made it all fun, working in a group project with my close friends made a lot of the tasks easier in comparison to my previous group projects in different grades. In A levels I would hope that my experience is similar to AS Levels, but since this is my last year of school, I hope the projects and the tasks bring much more memories and learning so that I could take the carry the skills on forward in life. This year I strive to polish the skills I have acquired in AS Levels and make them be more presentable so my goal for the best delivery of performance is achieved.
